3-Week Startup & Accelerator for Coffee Innovations
Purpose – VCs / Grants / Startup Capital / Kit
To empower Kenyan youth and women in coffee to launch, grow, and scale innovative coffee startups by providing intensive training, mentorship, and access to grants or venture capital networks.
Program Overview (12 Weeks) – Micro-MBA Certificate of Participation Upon Completion
Week 1 – Ignite (Foundations & Problem-Solving)
- Introduction to coffee entrepreneurship & value chain opportunities
- Business model design for coffee startups (roasting, retail, agri-tech, coffee tourism, sustainable packaging, etc.)
- Financial literacy, startup costing, and market research
- Storytelling & brand building for coffee ventures
Week 2 – Build (Prototyping & Validation)
- Product development workshops (hands-on roasting, brewing, packaging, digital solutions)
- Lean Startup methodology: customer discovery & MVP testing
- Digital tools for marketing, branding & e-commerce
- ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) & regenerative agriculture integration
Week 3 – Launch (Investment & Acceleration)
- Pitch-deck preparation & storytelling to investors
- Coffee startup clinic with mentors & industry leaders
- Networking with venture capital firms & angel investors
- Demo Day / Pitch Showcase: Youth present innovations to VCs, accelerators & coffee industry buyers

- Launch 20+ coffee startups each cycle through the accelerator.
